ESA Selects Irving, TX for 2011 Leadership Summit Event

Event to Leverage Nearby Cowboys Stadium for Tour, Talks and Banquet

April 2, 2010 – Today, the Electronic Security Association (ESA) officially announced it will host its 2011 ESA Leadership Summit at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, January 10-13.

The location puts the event in close proximity to Cowboys Stadium, home to the 2011 Super Bowl just three weeks later. Cowboys Stadium will also be the place for the ESA Leadership Summit Extravaganza on the evening of Jan. 11. At the Extravaganza, guests, sponsors and visitors will mix, mingle and celebrate at a reception and dinner; hear from Cowboys Stadium security and A/V directors and get a backstage tour of the electronic and security systems of the stadium.

The 2011 ESA Leadership Summit has been redesigned to feature two compelling segments. The first is a Hosted Guest Segment that brings ESA leadership and senior executives of the largest and most influential ESA member companies together for two days of education, networking and information sharing. The second segment includes the association meetings, leadership workshops, seminars and recognition functions that veteran attendees have grown to love.

"We are all very excited to bring the security industry's best and brightest to Irving this year," says Mike Miller, president of ESA. "We will provide useful information and advice, peer networking and contact with the best vendors in the industry. In short, an unbelievably good time."
